The Argentinian director Juan Solanas has won the top prize, the Bronze Horse, at the Stockholm International Film Festival for "Nordeste" (Northeast). Carole Bouquet plays Hélène, a rich Parisian woman determined to adopt a baby. She heads to Argentina, where she meets Juana, played by Aymará Rovera, a poor woman struggling to make ends meet. Bouquet and Rovera shared the best actress award.
